Heavy rains caused flooding and landslides across the Mexican state of Guerrero. Vehicles were dragged in the floodwaters in Acapulco, the capital of the state. Some roads were closed to traffic. In the town of Xaltianguis in the province, the bodies of two 50-year-olds, a woman and a man, were found in a vehicle that was caught in flood waters. In the town of Huamuchito, a 9-year-old boy died when a wall fell on him due to rain.
The number of people killed in recent floods in the country has risen to 20.
