Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said she will file a lawsuit against a drunk man who physically harassed her during a public event in Mexico City. Footage showed the man approaching her from behind and attempting to kiss her before being detained.
Sheinbaum stated, “What will happen to other Mexican women if I don’t file a complaint? If they can do this to the president, what can they not do to all women in our country?” She added that she is taking legal action to set an example and stand against harassment faced by women across Mexico.
