Mexico flooding rip through roads and houses

Heavy rains in the Mexican state of Sinaloa caused flooding. Flood waters reached a height of 40 centimeters in Culiacan, the city most affected by the rains, and closed some city roads. Electricity services were disrupted in many areas due to power line damage, according to authorities. A tree fell in the city of Navolato as a result of the rain, injuring two people. The injured were transported to a hospital.

Authorities have issued a warning to the public about the possibility of heavy rains and flooding.
