A MiG 21 LanceR type fighter jet belonging to the 86th Air Base, performing an air patrol in Romania, disappeared from the radar at 20:03 local time in the area between Cogealac and Gura Dobrogei. It was announced that the IAR-330 Puma type rescue helicopter, which was assigned to search for the plane, crashed while the plane was going to the area, and 5 crew members on the helicopter lost their lives. The status of the fighter plane, which disappeared from the radar, is not yet clear.
