Montenegrins are voting in 2nd round of presidential election

The second round of the presidential election in Montenegro has started as no candidate received more than 50 percent of the votes in the first round. The leader of the Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro and current President Milo Djukanovic, who received the most votes in the first round, and Deputy President of the European Movement, Jakov Milatovic, are vying to become the country’s new president. The first unofficial results of the voting are expected to be announced at midnight.

Reporting that fake election materials and ID copies were seized during the simultaneous raids carried out last night, the Montenegrin police said that anyone who resorts to electoral fraud will be punished.
