Moon and Venus conjunction observed in Taiwan

The conjunction of the moon and Venus was observable in the Far East country Taiwan at around 19.52 local time. The Taipei Planetarium stated that it was the first time in the last century that the rare natural event could be observed with the naked eye. It has been announced that the next Venus-Moon conjunction, which can be seen with the naked eye, will take place on May 31, 2063.

The last conjunction of the moon and Venus that could be observed with the naked eye in Taiwan took place in 1895.
