more than 600 immigrants reach italian island Lampedusa

The coast guards stopped an old fishing boat 8 miles off the Italian island of Lampedusa, and there were 686 immigrants on the boat. It was determined that the boat, accompanied by the coast guard to the port in Lampedusa, left the port city of Zuwara in Libya and carried immigrants from Egypt, Chad, Morocco, Syria, Bangladesh, Sudan, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Senegal. Immigrants who were disembarked were taken to the reception center where they would be processed. Immigrants will be moved to another ship for the Covid-19 quarantine.
