Morocco earthquake death toll increases to 632

The number of casualties caused by the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Al-Huz region of Morocco is increasing. According to the Moroccan Ministry of Internal Affairs, 632 people lost their lives and 329 were injured. It was said that most of the deaths occurred in mountainous regions that are difficult to reach. The earthquake was felt in many cities and caused great damage.


The Moroccan National Institute of Geophysics described the earthquake as the strongest earthquake to occur in the country throughout the last century.
