Morroccan fans riot in brussels after winning over belgium in world cup

Following Morocco’s 2-0 victory over Belgium in the second match of Group F’s 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the streets of Brussels were occupied by extremists. Moroccan supporters attacked vehicles near the historic Grand Place. The group turned a vehicle upside down set fire to the electric scooters and remove some benches. Many vehicles and stores were damaged as a result of the riots. A journalist was injured during the incident.

“I ordered the police to arrest those who caused the incident,” said Brussels Mayor Phillipe Close, who expressed his displeasure with the scene.
