Members of Van Valley Nature Sports Club climbed the Mount Ararat to draw attention on the melting glaciers. Ömer Dönmez, the club chairman, and had a picnic on the summit of the mountain and witnessed the melting glaciers.
“Due to global warming, most of the glaciers of Mount Ararat are melting. We have seen cracks even on the glaciers on the southern side” said Ömer Dönmez.
