In Türkiye’s Tunceli province, mountain goats roaming freely through the streets of Çemişgezek have become a local attraction. Often seen near homes and even in traffic, the protected animals move calmly among autumn’s golden leaves, delighting both residents and visitors.
Eleven-year-old Seyit Han Akkılıç, visiting from Elazığ, said seeing the goats up close was “a wonderful and exciting experience.” Locals say the animals, especially in the Tağar Valley, are part of the town’s identity and add color to its autumn landscape.
