Muhammed recovered from rubble 9 days after earthquake

On the 9th day of the great earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş in Türkiye, search and rescue teams pulled a person alive from under the rubble in Adıyaman. With 3 hours of efforts, 18-year-old Muhammed Cafer Çetin was rescued 198 hours after the earthquake. Muhammad’s first requests were water and a meat meal from the rescue teams.

He was carried on a stretcher by the rescuers with the rope, and then he was taken to the hospital. Muhammad’s health is reportedly good.

In addition, his mother and sibling are still inside the wreckage of the building.
