multi-vehicle collision on mexican highway

In the northern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, a truck brake failure caused a multi-vehicle collision involving 8 vehicles. Authorities reported that 4 people were killed including 3 US citizen, and 5 people were injured in the accident. Following the accident, civil defense and medical teams were sent to the scene. The highway was closed to traffic by the security forces, and the passengers stuck in their vehicles were rescued by civil defense officers. Three people among the injured were taken to hospitals.
