Funeral prayers in absentia were held for Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who was assassinated in Tehran, Iran, in many cities of Türkiye, such as Gümüşhane, Manisa, and Istanbul. Muslims who attended the prayers also expressed their support for the Palestinians.
Some state officials also attended the prayers.
