Mystery Tunnels on Turkish Mountain Attract Visitors

 

The gold mining tunnels on Elazığ’s Nimri Mountain in Türkiye, rumored to have been dug by dwarves, continue to intrigue visitors. Local legends claim these narrow tunnels, created by Armenians, were worked by dwarves, including orphaned children whose growth was stunted.

Fethi Oruç, a local informant, highlighted the tunnels’ unique structure and potential for tourism, noting their extensive network and fascinating history. There is hope that these mysterious tunnels can be developed into a tourist attraction.
