NASA Conducts First Medical Evacuation From ISS

NASA has carried out its first-ever medical evacuation from the International Space Station (ISS) after an astronaut developed health problems. A SpaceX capsule carrying the four-member Crew-11 team departed the station and safely landed in the Pacific Ocean off California. NASA did not disclose the astronaut’s identity or medical condition.

The crew, which had been scheduled to return in mid-February, arrived at the ISS in August for a 6.5-month mission. The evacuation marks a historic first in modern human spaceflight.
