NASA Research Jet Makes Emergency Belly Landing In Texas

A NASA research aircraft made an emergency belly landing at Ellington Airport in Houston after its landing gear failed to deploy due to a mechanical malfunction. The WB-57 aircraft touched down with its gear retracted, with bystander footage showing flames as the fuselage scraped the runway. Emergency crews responded immediately, and both pilots escaped unharmed. NASA said an investigation is underway, adding that all crew members are safe.
