NASA to Initiate First Crewed Flight with Starliner Spacecraft

National Aeronautics and Space Administration and Boeing are ready for the Boeing Crew Flight Test, in which the first crewed flight of the Boeing CFT-100 Starliner spacecraft will be initiated. The spacecraft, which will take NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to the International Space Station, will be launched on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida at 12:25 p.m. EDT.

The astronauts will spend about a week at the orbiting laboratory before returning to Earth.
