NASA’s Orion returns to Earth from Lunar orbit

The Orion spacecraft, which was launched into lunar orbit without a crew on November 16 as part of NASA’s Artemis Lunar Program, has successfully returned to Earth. Orion landed in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of the Mexican state of Baja California after a 25.5-day mission.

Orion, which traveled 385,000 kilometers between the Moon and the Earth, was scheduled to land in San Diego, California, USA, but the landing site was rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions. During the mission, Orion covered approximately 2,254,000 thousand kilometers.
