NATO Celebrates 75th Anniversary with Messages of Unity and Strength

During the 75th anniversary celebrations of NATO, held in Brussels, Admiral Rob Bauer, NATO Military Committee Chairman, highlighted NATO’s historical success as an alliance. He emphasized NATO’s growth from 12 to 32 member states and the enduring commitment to collective security. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the alliance’s strength in unity, stating, “Together we are stronger and safer.”

The anniversary ceremonies included speeches by Admiral Bauer, Secretary General Stoltenberg, and foreign ministers, culminating in a ceremonial pasta cutting. Admiral Bauer underscored NATO’s role in defending freedom and democracy, serving as a shield for innocent people, and uniting generations in the shared duty of upholding freedom against oppression.
