NATO Prepares Rapid Patriot Delivery to Ukraine

NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Alexus G. Grynkewich, announced that preparations are underway to deliver Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine in coordination with Germany.

Speaking at the LandEuro 2025 conference in Wiesbaden, Grynkewich said, “We are working very closely with the Germans on the Patriot systems, and my instructions are to complete the process as quickly as possible.”

While he declined to reveal exact numbers or timelines for security reasons, he stressed that the delivery process is already in motion and emphasized the urgency of strengthening Ukraine’s air defenses in response to recent Russian attacks.

Grynkewich also noted that systems already stationed in Europe can be transferred faster than those in production and added that broader coordination with allies is ongoing to meet Ukraine’s critical defense needs.
