Nature Enthusiast Travels 850 km for Rare Tulips

Atanur Sevim, a retired academic from Samsun, traveled 850 kilometers to Adıyaman’s Gerger district to photograph the rare inverted tulips, also known as “crying brides.” These protected flowers bloom briefly in spring and are found only in high-altitude areas. Sevim captured the unique sight on camera and urged visitors to respect nature by not picking the endangered plants.
