Mountaineers and nature enthusiasts in Gümüşhane, Türkiye faced a challenging trek amid heavy snow, enduring blizzards reaching over 1 meter in parts of the Kalis Plateau, nestled at the base of Karadağ. Despite the daunting conditions, they embarked on a nature walk event, reveling in the stunning winter vistas.
Nineteen athletes completed the challenging ascent to the 2,050-meter plateau, navigating frozen streams and enjoying a brief rest before embracing nostalgia, indulging in some childhood fun by skating on their brought-along bags.
