Neuralink Enables Paraplegic to Play Chess with Mind

Noland Arbaugh, a 29-year-old paralyzed from the neck down, showcased the groundbreaking capabilities of Neuralink’s brain chip technology. Implanted with the chip in January, Arbaugh demonstrated his ability to control a computer cursor solely with his thoughts, engaging in an online chess game during a live Neuralink broadcast.

Previously unable to play chess post-accident, Arbaugh now navigates computers through “telepathy” technology, bypassing the need for physical aids like a mouth-controlled stick. His demonstration included stopping music with a mental command, showcasing the chip’s immersive capabilities.
