The keys to 206 newly built village houses in Hatay’s Hassa district have been handed over to earthquake survivors. The homes, offering views of the Amanos Mountains and a nearby lake, will be ready for occupancy by March.
Efforts by Türkiye’s Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change continue to support those affected by last year’s devastating earthquake. Residents expressed gratitude for the new homes, highlighting their modern design, durability, and spacious interiors. “We experienced the apocalypse in the earthquake. Now, we have safe and comfortable homes,” said Osman Çiğdem, one of the beneficiaries.
