Democrats on the U.S. House Oversight Committee released previously unseen photos and videos from Jeffrey Epstein’s Little St. James Island, where underage girls were allegedly abused. The images show bedrooms, a dentist’s chair, masks on walls, a speed-dial phone with names, and a photo of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell with Pope John Paul II.
Rep. Robert Garcia said the materials were released for transparency and urged the Justice Department to make all Epstein files public. The committee also obtained records from JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank, expected to be released soon.
Epstein, arrested in 2019 on sex-trafficking charges, died in jail that same year. His accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, is serving a 20-year sentence.
