Tens of thousands gathered around the Angel of Independence Monument in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, to enjoy the concert of the traditional Latin dance music group “Los Angeles Azules” hours before 2023. The capital metro extended the services to 01.30 on some lines in order to avoid transportation problems.
Other cities, such as the touristic locations Cancun and Playa del Carmen also brought people together with exciting fireworks shows.
