US New York City Mayor Eric Leroy Adams drew attention with a video he posted on his social media account. Recording the moments when he went for shopping in the evening, Adams chose a Turkish tradesman to buy fruit and vegetables. Adams said the stalls in his area are open late at night and working hard. Adams also emphasized he supports small businesses. While Adams was recording those moments, a Turk saluted the mayor and said to the shopkeepers, “He is the mayor, you know, right? He was the Mayor of Brooklyn, now the Mayor of New York.”
