nomads of turkey migrate

Nomads living in easternmost Turkey grass down sheep herds in city of Kars during summers. They continue migrating to Iğdır, another city in Turkey, to spend the winter. They set up tents on the hills regardless of cold weather, with donkeys carrying their belongings. The shepherds are responsible of thousands of sheep. A nomad Remzi İnanır said, “We take our animals to downhill of mountain to warmer places when mountain peaks are cold and in knee-deep snow. We climb hills again once snow fades away. Our lifework is difficult”. The herd was filmed with a drone that chase them on the steppes.
