North Korea conducted its first missile test since Donald Trump’s inauguration in the US, launching a guided strategic cruise missile launched from underwater.
Kim Jong Un, the North Korean leader who led the missile test, stated that defense technologies aimed at deterring war were becoming increasingly perfect and that they would continue their weapons development efforts responsibly.
The North Korean Missile Administration said the missile successfully hit its intended target and that the launch had no negative impact on the security of neighboring countries.
