North Korea has announced the successful test of its new “Hwasongpho-11-Da-4.5” tactical ballistic missile, which is equipped with a 4.5-ton conventional warhead. The test, conducted under the supervision of leader Kim Jong-un, verified the missile’s hit performance over a medium range of 320 kilometers and assessed the explosive power of the warhead. In addition, North Korea tested an improved strategic cruise missile. Kim also inspected the production of various weapons, including new sniper and automatic rifles, during his visit to the Academy of Defense Sciences.
