North Korea has conducted a test launch of an improved 240-millimeter guided multiple rocket launcher system, state-run KCNA reported. The new system is designed to strengthen the country’s firepower along its southern border, according to the report. KCNA said the test demonstrated the rockets’ accuracy and performance, highlighting their autonomous precision guidance system and increased range. The rockets hit targets 100 kilometers away in orbital flight mode and 115 kilometers away in combined glide mode.
