North Korean leader Kim Jong-un took action after announcing that the country would steadily increase its nuclear weapons capacity. The Korean leader visited the Nuclear Weapons Institute and a banned uranium enrichment facility whose name and location were not disclosed and instructed officials to increase its nuclear weapons production capacity. He also led a drill of a new type of 600 mm multiple rocket launcher system and inspected a training base for the Korean People’s Army’s special forces on Wednesday.
Kim said that the nuclear threats from the US and its allies have “crossed the red line” and forced North Korea to increase its nuclear weapons capacity.
