Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in a video post on his social media account regarding the latest situation in the ongoing clashes in the Kursk region that Russia has redeployed North Korean soldiers to the Kursk front.
South Korea’s National Intelligence Service reported on Wednesday that North Korean troops sent to Russia to fight against Ukraine have not participated in the clashes in the Kursk region since mid-January.
According to the news of BBC, citing Western officials, it is estimated that at least 1,000 of the 11,000 soldiers sent from North Korea have been killed. North Korean soldiers are unprepared for modern warfare and are particularly vulnerable to drones, added the British broadcaster.
Military experts state that if North Korea’s casualties continue at this rate, the situation is unsustainable.
