Northern Lights Appears in Germany after Severe Solar Flare

Due to the huge explosion recently occurred on the sun, the northern lights appeared in various parts of the world, including areas that the phenomenon was not seen before. The phenomenon that painted the sky with colors in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, was photographed by astrophotographer Mehmet Ergün Kuzey.

The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported that the explosion caused a severe geomagnetic storm, which is expected to affect the world within two days and may cause damage to electromagnetic technologies such as navigation systems, radios or power networks.
