Norwegian far-right leader burns Quran

Lars Thorsen, the leader of the anti-Islamic far-right SIAN group, burned Qur’an and left it on the road where a large Muslim community lives in Oslo, Norway. The people around tried to extinguish the flames by interfering with the situation. Getting into his car, Thorsen once again made the same provocation and took the Qur’an that he had burned in his car out of the window and started walking around the streets.

Later, a vehicle carrying two women followed Thorsen’s vehicle. Thorsen’s vehicle rolled over after a while of pursuit. The police said that two women, including the driver of the vehicle who was accused of “deliberately crashing,” were taken into custody after six people were injured in the accident.
