Numerous People Flocked to Historical Kemeraltı Bazaar to Shop for Eid al-Adha

With the start of Eid al-Adha, celebrated by Muslims, the holiday shopping frenzy began. Izmir’s historical Kemeraltı Bazaar, which was included in the ‘World Temporary Heritage List’ by UNESCO, was filled with citizens preparing for the holiday from morning until evening on the day of Eve.

The historical marketplace consists of a large number of shops selling a variety of products, such as knives, clothes, shoes, souvenirs, or rosaries.
