Hundreds of Orthodox Jews gathered outside the Israeli Consulate in New York to protest Israel’s ongoing wars and the mandatory military conscription of anti-Zionist religious youth. Led by the Rabbinical Union of the United States, demonstrators strongly condemned the forced recruitment into the Israeli army, calling it a direct violation of their religious freedom and Torah teachings. Speaking on behalf of the crowd, Rabbi David Feldman declared that Zionism contradicts Judaism and criticized the Israeli government for repressing peaceful dissent. Standing near the United Nations, Feldman urged the international community to recognize that the State of Israel does not represent all Jewish people. The rally, which was heavily monitored by the New York Police Department, concluded peacefully without any incidents.
