An official ceremony was held in Normandy, France to mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, when over 150,000 allied soldiers landed in Normandy to face Nazi Germany on June 6, 1944.
The ceremony was attended by the leaders of the allied countries, including Britain’s William, Prince of Wales, US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and veterans of the operation.
