An oil tanker and a cargo ship collided in the North Sea off England’s East Yorkshire coast, causing a fire on the tanker.
The UK Coastguard reported that emergency teams were dispatched following the accident, which occurred at 09:48. A rescue helicopter, lifeboats, a fixed-wing aircraft, and firefighting vessels from multiple locations, including Skegness and Bridlington, were sent to the scene. The response efforts are ongoing.
