One Went Missing after Landslide in Japan

Heavy rains that started last night in Japan’s Yamagata and Akita prefectures caused floods, landslides, and overflowing. One person was reported missing after a landslide in Akita state.

The Japan Meteorological Agency announced that heavy rains are expected until tomorrow evening in Yamagata, Akita, Aomori, Fukushima, Iwate and Miyagi provinces in the Tohoku region and warned citizens against floods and landslides.
