One Went Missing after Typhoon Gaemi Sinks Fuel Tanker off Philippines

The severe storm that occurred off the coast of Baatan region during Typhoon Gaemi, which hit the north of the Philippines, sank a Philippine-flagged tanker carrying 1.5 million liters of fuel. Teams rescued 16 of the 17 crew members of the ship named “MT Terra Nova”. A missing personnel is being searched despite the harsh weather conditions.

Meanwhile, efforts are being made to control the fuel leak that is in danger of reaching the Manila coast.
