Orient Express Arrives In Istanbul

The historic Venice Simplon Orient Express, famed as the setting of Agatha Christie’s novel “Murder on the Orient Express,” arrived at Istanbul’s Bakırköy Station for its second trip of the year.

Departing from Paris and passing through Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria before entering Türkiye at Kapıkule, the luxury train was welcomed with a red carpet reception. Its specially designed nostalgic carriages drew attention, and the train is scheduled to depart again on October 3 at 2:05 PM.
