Ornaments dating back 6,000 years found in Kayseri

Archeological excavation season has been completed at Kültepe Kaniş-Karum Archeological Sites, where archaeological findings and documents dating back 6,000 years have been unearthed in Kayseri, Türkiye. Many valuable ornaments, such as waist belts, rings and bracelets, were found in the graves. It was discovered that women were buried with their precious jewelry in the tombs, and these belonged to nobles, princes and queens. The precious gems in the jewelry are assumed to have been brought here from Pakistan and India.
