Over 100 Russian Soldiers Have Been Captured, Says Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared a footage of a video conference in which he was informed by Chief of General Staff Oleksandr Syrskyi on the current situation in important areas of the front line, especially in Toretsk and Pokrovsk, and the operation in the Kursk region of Russia. “We have advanced 1-2 kilometers in various places in the Kursk region today. At the same time, more than 100 Russian soldiers have been captured,” Zelensky wrote in his post.

Violent clashes have erupted in Russia’s Kursk region, where the Ukrainian army carried out a surprise attack on August 6. The clashes have killed 4 people and injured 38 more.
