Over 100 Tons of Aid Collected for Earthquake-stricken Türkiye in Washington

Aid has been pouring into Türkiye after the recent 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş. A aid campaign was launched at the Turkish Embassy in Washington three days ago, attracting great participation from Americans and other nationalities. The aid collected exceeded 100 tons, including winter clothes, food and other materials. Diplomatic missions of other countries in Washington also joined the effort. The Virginia Muslim Association and Afghan Hasib Ahmed showed their support for the cause. The US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC also hung Turkish flags and set up a QR system to collect money for earthquake victims.
