Over 100,000 Flee to Syria Amid Israeli Strikes on Lebanon

 

The United Nations reports that 100,000 people have fled to Syria due to ongoing Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah. UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi confirmed that Lebanese and Syrian citizens continue to cross into Syria, with support provided by the UN, local authorities, and the Syrian Red Crescent at four crossing points.

The Syrian Red Crescent has set up mobile clinics at the borders, providing medical services to over 2,000 people and psychological support to 22,000 refugees. The death toll from Israeli attacks in Lebanon has reached 105, according to Lebanese health officials.
