Hot air balloon tourism remained strong in Cappadocia in Nevşehir, central Türkiye, in 2025, with 754,098 visitors taking flights over the UNESCO-listed region. Authorities reported that balloons flew on 223 days, with 29,479 takeoffs throughout the year.
Although flight days and total launches were slightly lower than in 2024 due to weather conditions, passenger numbers remained above 750,000, showing sustained demand. Flights in Cappadocia operate only under strict meteorological safety approvals.
