Over Hundred Flights Cancelled In India Amid Fog

New Delhi faced dense fog, paralyzing life as heavy air pollution created almost zero visibility, significantly disrupting transportation, notably at Indira Gandhi International Airport. The airport reported 110 flight delays, with an additional 25 train services to Delhi also affected. Agra-Lucknow Highway witnessed a chain collision involving six vehicles due to the dense fog, resulting in one fatality and 24 injuries.

 

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) cautioned about persistent dense fog impacting several northwestern and central regions, spanning Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
