Heavy rain caused the Las Vacas River in the Guatemalan capital to overflow, submerging six houses. Authorities announced that 6 people died and 13 people went missing. The fire department said that there was a girl and 5 adults among the bodies and that they expected the death toll to rise. Search and rescue efforts continue in the region.
